The birth of militancy

Today I came across a news item about the murder convict Manu Sharma out on parole, but found enjoying in a night club.
The other news which has interested me since last few days is the arrest and interogation of erstwhile CM of Jharkhand Madhu Koda on his disproportionate assets case.I was aghast at the news of the amount of money he has embezzled.
Then another news item which I found indirectly has a bearing on the previous two news items, is the drastic efforts taken up by our esteemed home minister in trying to bring militancy under control.
Don't you think all the three news items are inter related? If the law and justice becomes a play thing in the hands of the rich and the mighty, what hope is there for the common man?
Would my son be set free to cool his iinsatiable hunger for night life,if he was a murder convict? No.Rather for him the delivery of justice will be so fast that he wont live to see any mercy appeal. As had happened with a watchman in bengal who had been accused of raping and murdering a minor of that building.
Would I be allowed to stack away my ill gotten black money, and to reach the opposition in the assembly, before being apprehended. No , 'cause I don't have the power nor the price to buy justice.
What message are we sending to the common man?
Are all the developments of a hitech India only required in the metros, or big cities?Don't we living in small towns require good concrete roads, superfast trains, airports ,telecommunication, good well equipped hospitals, good schools.quick delivery of justice ,proper policing etc?
Why are there honour killings in small towns, why are women still being annihilated in the garb of witchcraft?
Are we not paying taxes?
You will be surprised to hear that in places that I have worked, my relatives were reluctant to come 'cause of the absence of the above. I had to stay throught in small towns 'cause limestone is available in small places, where cement factories are set up.
I am not being selfish. Its not because I have suffered ,but I'm just giving an example to prove my point. If you are deprived of your right, some may recoil and bear it with a heavy heart ,but there are some who have seen the suffering, and these are the people who rise up in arms. I'm not justifying militancy, but I 'm trying to say that if the government delivers impartially and in all directions there will not be a hurry in an aftermath of maoist attack to rehabilitate the states tribals or its small town dwellers.
Am I right?

Me and my loneliness

Today I'm feeling a bit better,'cause my husband is returning from his seminar at Delhi, moreover, I had some very hearty talks with some of my old friends from previous factory. We exchanged some tips on our family ,some hilarious anecdotes were exchanged and that was enough to lift my mood.Lets see how long this sustains me.
I now realise how lonely my mother must be feeling when we were all engrossed in our studies and jobs.It had never occur ed to me at that time that we should sometimes sit down and exchange some thoughts with her. Now she is no longer with us ,but I miss her the most now.Wish god would give me a chance to rectify my mistake, but that's asking for the impossible.Whenever we six brothers and sisters meet we never fail to recount the sacrifices made by our mom, the difficult times she went through to sustain the family, without a whimper of complaint. But all is of no use when she is no longer with us.
Why were we not counselled on how to care for the feelings of the older people. It never occurred to me so long I was busy pursuing my career, that there is someone waiting anxiously at home for our news. Now when I have everything life can give you , I don't have the people with whom I would have loved to share these comfort.
As we are progressing towards a so called highly developed society, we are becoming more and more self centered. The children are so engrossed in their pursuit of excellence, that they are unknowingly loosing the touch of soft skills. There is only one reply when you contact them ,"I'm busy now, I'll call you later."That later may never come, as it never came for me.I still regret ,not being with my parents or in laws when they breathed their last.I only pray to god to give them a happier and more full life in their next incarnation.

The lonely mother/wife

Will someone provide me some assistance as to how to keep myself from going mad.
